She did not got to cosmetology school, instead graduating with a degree in Graphic Design. She launched her blog in January of 2012.

She's also a freelance makeup artist and runs a salon in her hometown.

Her real name is Nicole. Her husband's name is David and they have a dog named Olive. She also has a younger sister, Kristina.

She was inspired to start beauty blogging from fellow beauty guru Marlena Stell from Makeup Geek.
