ABOUT MO AMER
Palestinian-American comedian who first gained fame for his work with the stand-up comedy troupe Allah Made Me Funny. His Netflix comedy special, Mo Amer: The Vagabond, was released in 2018. The following year, he kicked off his starring role in the comedy-drama series Ramy.
He honed his stand-up skills in Houston comedy clubs during his early years as a comic.
He has toured numerous countries as a stand-up comedian, including Germany, Italy, Japan, and Bahrain. He shares video clips of his stand-up performances on his moamer Instagram account, which has amassed over 310,000 followers.
He is of Palestinian descent. He has five siblings.
He starred alongside Ramy Youssef in Ramy.
