Singer, actor and ukulele player known for Hawaiian music. He was the uncle and major musical influence of Israel Kamakawiwoʻole .
He learned to play the ukulele at the age of four.
In 2003, the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts instituted the Moe Keale "Aloha Is" Award in its Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.
His father was a kahuna.
He appeared in Magnum, P.I. which starred Tom Selleck .
