ABOUT MOHAMED MAHMOUD

Veteran central midfielder who originally signed his first professional club contract with the Wadi Degla Sporting Club as a teenager in 2016. He has also played for the Egyptian men's national team during his professional career.

Initially, he began his youth soccer career within the Wadi Degla SC youth ranks. He would eventually sign his first club contract with Wadi Degla at the age of 17.

He made his official international team debut with Egypt while playing against Swaziland during the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He and his team won the match 2-0. His soccer fame has helped him accrue more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Egypt.

He has played alongside Mohamed Salah as a member of the Egyptian men's national team during his professional career.
