Aussie singer who first rose to fame for their single "I Am Not an End." Then, in August of 2016, they released her debut album Glorious Heights. They released an 'always be you' remix EP in 2022. Their song "1955" has garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify.
In 2012, they were a Triple J Unearthed High finalist; however, they postponed launching her music career until they graduated high school. They released her debut EP "Life of Montaigne" in 2014.
They announced their first headlining tour in February 2015. In September 2022, they released their third album, "Making it!"
Their birth name is Jessica Cerro. They adopted her moniker from 16th-century philosopher Michel de Montaigne. They have collaborated with artist Daði Freyr, releasing a single featuring him in 2022.
They performed a cover of Sia 's "Chandelier" for the radio station Triple J.
