ABOUT MORFYDD CLARK
Welsh actress known for her roles in the TV series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and the television mini-series Dracula. She has also appeared in the TV series The Alienist , Pride and Prejudice and Zombies , and His Dark Materials . She gained fame in 2019 for her turn as the titular character in the horror movie Saint Maud.
She had only appeared in a handful of short films and cameos on TV when she was cast as Camille in the feature film Madame Bovary in 2014. She attended the National Youth Theatre of Wales and then the Drama Centre London.
Her titular role in Saint Maud brought her both a Rising Star Award from BAFTA and a Best Actress nomination from the British Independent Film Awards. She has talked in interviews about her struggles with dyslexia and ADHD.
After two years of living in her birth country of Sweden, her parents moved her family back to their homeland in Wales.
She has acted alongside Ezra Miller , Benjamin Walker and Nazanin Boniadi .
