Brother of superstar Mariah Carey who has worked as a model, fitness trainer, producer and entrepreneur.

He grew up on Long Island with his family. He was working as a model and fitness trainer when his sister's career began to take off.

His interests include Tai Chi, permaculture, and a sustainable lifestyle. In 2021, he filed a lawsuit against his sister for claims she made about their family life in her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

He is the oldest child of his parents, Patricia and Alfred Carey. He has two younger sisters, Mariah and Alison. He married Ilaria Negrini Carey.

He is the uncle of Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon .
