ABOUT MORIKAWA AOI
Japanese actress and model who is known for both her feature film roles as well as her recurring television appearances. She is best recognized for her work with NTV including on the shows Do S Deka and 35-sai No Koukousei. She is also known for having portrayed Mary Saotome in the 2019 feature film Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler.
She started her career as a model and gained attention in 2010 when she won the Seventten Magazine Miss Seventeen pageant in Japan. In 2012, she made her acting debut on television when she starred as Miku Ikenouchi on the NTV series Sprout.
She is also known for having earned representation from the Stardust Promotion agency.
She was born and raised in the Aichi Prefecture of Japan. She has two brothers who also work in the entertainment industry.
She starred alongside Toma Ikuta in the 2017 feature film My Teacher.
