Morley Callaghan
ABOUT MORLEY CALLAGHAN
A Canadian novelist, short story writer, playwright, and radio personality, he is particularly known for novels such as Strange Fugitive, It's Never Over, and A Broken Journey. He also published a 1963 memoir entitled That Summer in Paris.
He studied at the University of Toronto and later attended Osgoode Hall Law School.
He was awarded the Royal Society of Canada's Lorne Pierce Medal.
He grew up in Toronto, Canada. With his wife, Loretto Dee, he had two sons.
He worked with Ernest Hemingway at the Toronto Daily Star.
