Successful businessman and the Adviser to the Chairperson and the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh from 2001 to 2006.
He earned a degree in Engineering from the Tokyo University of Technology.
He is the owner of the Southeast Asian companies Citycell, Pacific Motors, and Arab Bangladesh Bank.
He and his wife have five children and 13 grandchildren.
He served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, under President Iajuddin Ahmed .
