ABOUT MOUSSA MAREGA

Professional soccer player who starts as a striker for the Saudi Professional League club Al Hilal. He also represents the Mali national team. He has 270,000 followers on Twitter and 500,000 on Instagram.

He started his career at Évry FC before moving to Vendée Poiré-sur-Vie Football of the Championnat National, France's Division 3 football league, in 2012, and fellow league team Amiens a year later. He spent a year playing in Tunisia, then signed with the Portuguese club Porto, where he won two league titles in four years.

In 2018 he was awarded the Dragão de Ouro (Golden Dragon) as Porto's best player of the calendar year.

He was born in Les Ulis, Essonne, to Malian parents. He is a practicing Muslim and moved to Saudi Arabia for reasons of faith. He became father to a son in 2017.

Two of his Al Hilal teammates are the Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo and Brazilian midfielder Matheus Pereira .
