Egyptian singer and actor who rose to prominence in the 1990s and appeared in films such as Esabet Al-Doctor Omar.
He started taking music lessons after his father bought him a guitar when he was ten years-old.
He released his first single, "Wala Yabou Khad Gameel," in 1990.
He had two sons, Eyad and Tayam, with his wife Ghada Essa.
He became popular during the same period as fellow Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny .
