ABOUT MR. BRAINWASH
French street artist who rose to fame after he was endorsed by Shepard Fairey and Banksy. He is the subject of the latter's 2010 documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. He has made notable collaborations with musicians such as Wyclef Jean and Madonna .
He was a videographer and photographer before he began pursuing street art.
He created art installations for the 2013 Coachella Festival. He shares art through his mrbrainwash Instagram account, where he has gained upwards of 1.5 million followers.
His birth name is Thierry Guetta. He has been alleged to be the cousin of the street artist Invader.
He was featured in an episode of Morgan Spurlock 's documentary series A Day in the Life.
