Egyptian film actress who rose to prominence in the 1960s for her roles in the films My Only Love and La Tuft'e al-Shams.
She made her acting debut in the 1958 film Soultan.
Her second film Cairo Station was one of the landmark films of its time.
Her father was an accountant and her mother was Polish.
She was once good friends with actor Omar Sharif .
