ABOUT NAFISAT ABDULLAHI

Nigerian actress who is known for her roles in numerous Hausa films. She has won multiple awards including a City People Entertainment Award and a Kannywood Award. She is most recognized for appearing in the film Blood and Henna in 2012.

She began her acting career in film when at 19, she starred in the FKD Productions film Sai Wata Rana in 2010. After appearing in Alhini and Marainiya in 2012, she then travelled to Berlin International Film Festival where she earned international recognition.

She is known for having won the 2016 AMMA Award for Best Actress of the Year for her role in the film Da'iman.

She was born and raised in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. She has three sisters.

She starred alongside Ali Nuhu in the 2012 Nigerian film Blood and Henna.
