ABOUT NAJA RICKETTE
Also known as "The Queen of Nails" or "The Naja," she is a couture nail artist and stylist who is known for being the pioneer of Minx nails. She opened the Naja Nail Guru Nail Academy and became a television personality on the reality series L.A. Hair . She has also been the owner of the LA-based salon Nail Spa Extremities Hand & Foot Spa, which has had visits from Missy Elliott , Tamar Braxton , and Lady Gaga .
She was a professionally trained chef before becoming a nail artist. She began doing nail styling in 2003. Her first job in the spa business was as a front desk coordinator at a luxury spa.
She is a former co-owner and host of Nail Talk Radio. She is also a published writer and has been featured in Beauty Cents and Sheen Magazine.
She is a New Jersey native who moved to Los Angeles, California. Her mother gave birth to her on a Sunday.
She styled the nails of Fergie for the Black Eyed Peas music video of the song "Boom, Boom, Boom." US Weekly named her work client Miranda Lambert the Best Mani of The Grammys in 2013.
