ABOUT NANA KOMATSU

Japanese feature film star most well known for appearing as the title character in The World of Kanako. She is also known internationally for appearing in the 2016 Martin Scorsese film Silence. In 2022, she played Matsuri Takabayashi in the film The Last 10 Years.

Before making her big screen debut, she first appeared in the 2012 music video "Convenience Honeymoon" for Chatmonchy and the 2013 short film Tadaima.

In 2015, she won Newcomer of the Year from both the 38th Japan Academy Prize and 69th Mainichi Film Awards. She has accumulated over 30 on-screen acting credits throughout her developing career.

She married TV actor Masaki Suda in 2021.

In the 2014 romance film Close Range Love, she starred opposite Tomohisa Yamashita .
