ABOUT NANCY YI FAN
Famous for her New York Times bestselling fantasy novel Swordbird, she published the book when she was only thirteen years old and quickly penned and published a prequel and a sequel: Sword Quest (2008) and Sword Mountain (2012).
She began writing Swordbird when she was ten and had finished the novel by the time she was eleven.
After becoming a published writer, she began her undergraduate education at Harvard University.
She spent the first seven years of her life in Beijing, China, and the remainder of her youth in New York and Florida.
