Naomi Diaz
ABOUT NAOMI DIAZ
French-Cuban world music singer/songwriter who rose to fame as one half of the music duo Ibeyi. As a member of Ibeyi she assumed the duties of Peruvian/Cuban percussion instruments such as the cajon.
In an interview she stated that she first began playing the cajon at the age of 11.
The duo released their debut studio album Ibeyi through XL Recordings in 2015.
She is the daughter of Cuban percussionist Anga Díaz and the twin sister of fellow Ibeyi member Lisa-Kaindé Diaz .
Both she and Adele have released music through XL Recordings.
