Pop singer with the Canadian girl group All Saints, the group known for the BRIT Award-winning song "Never Ever." The band released 5 studio albums as of 2023. Their song "Pure Shores" has accumulated over 130 million streams on Spotify.

She and her sister joined her theatre school classmate to form All Saints.

In their eight years together, Appleton's work with All Saints scored five #1 hits, including "Bootie Call."  In 2023, she appeared as a contestant on The Masked Singer .

Her daughter, actress Rachel Appleton , was born in 1992. She married Carl Robinson, Rachel's father, in 1993 but they divorced in 1995. She married Liam Howlett in 2002 and had a son in 2004 named Ace.

She and Ashley Roberts were both on the reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
