ABOUT NATE HILLYER
Illustrator and artist who is known for his darker imagery and horror inspired content. He is known for being the artist, writer, and creator of Nox Lucem Indianapolis. He shares his artwork with his over 1,000 Instagram followers.
He first began sharing his original artwork to Instagram in March of 2014. Beginning with black and white traditional drawings, he later expanded into paintings and infused the color red into his drawings, expanding his style and thematic elements.
He has been published and has collaborated with different clients including 3Dtotal, Spectrum Fantastic Art, and Partisan Records. He also runs his own online web store where he sells prints, shirts, and other clothing.
He was born and raised in Indiana.
His work has been inspired and contains elements from a variety of other artists most notably including Guillermo del Toro , Justin Roiland , and Edward Gorey .
