ABOUT NAVAAN SANDHU

Singer-songwriter and composer who has become popularly known for tracks including "Do Me a Favour," "Unbothered," "Hood Famous," and "Dil Lagiyan." He has been praised for his one-of-a-kind synthesis of both traditional Punjabi and modern Hip-Hop sounds. He has become a popular figure on social media, where his navaansandhu Instagram account is host to over 900,000 followers.

He grew up in a rural village outside of Chandigarh, India, and began creating music during childhood. He enjoyed freestyling and participating in rap battles while attending school. He drew influence from both local folk music and western hip-hop influences including rapper Eminem .

After making his professional music debut in 2014, he joined forces with pop singer Jassie Gill for what many considered to be his breakout song, titled "Lahore." Some of his early works also included collaborations with Jordan Sandhu and Manni Sandhu .

He has a sister.

He has also collaborated with performers such as Babbal Rai and Raftaar .
