ABOUT NEIL DUDGEON
Most well known for his role as John Barnaby in the popular series Midsomer Murders, he is also notable for his television performances in Sorted, Roman's Empire, Out of the Blue, and Common as Muck.
After studying theater at the University of Bristol, he portrayed Moggy Cattermole in the 1988 TV miniseries Piece of Cake.
He voiced Norman Birkett in several BBC Radio 4 plays that aired in 2012.
He was born in Doncaster, England. His marriage to radio producer Mary Peate resulted in two children.
He joined the cast of Midsomer Murders as a replacement for actor John Nettles .
