ABOUT NEIL SHUBIN
Paleontologist, evolutionary biologist and TV show host best known for discoveries like that of the prehistoric fish known as the tiktaalik roseae. He has also served as the host of the PBS show Your Inner Fish.
He earned his PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary biology from Harvard University.
He appeared on an episode of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report in 2008.
He married Michele A. Seidl in 1989.
He and Walter W. Granger are both famous paleontologists.
