ABOUT NELSON XAVIER
Brazilian actor who is best known for his roles in more than 95 films and television shows between 1959 and 2017. He starred in Chico Xavier, A Queda and Farewell.
In 1958, he made his debut as a professional theater actor in the play "Eles Não Usam Black-Tie."
He starred in the 1964 film Os Fuzis, which won the Silver Bear Extraordinary Jury Prize at the 14th Berlin International Film Festival. In the show The Favorite, he appeared in more than two dozen episodes, playing the character Edivaldo.
He is the son of Olavo Xavier and Carolina Agostini. In 1989, he married Vya Negromonte. He was married to Joana Fomm from 1964 to 1966. He has four children, Sofia Helena, Tereza Villela, Pedro Cabizuca and Anna.
He starred alongside Leticia Sabatella , Christiane Torloni , Tony Ramos and Matheus Costa in the film Chico Xavier.
