ABOUT NICHOLAS MEYER
Writer and director of the classic science fiction films Star Trek II and Star Trek VI.
He wrote his first novel in 1974, after earning a degree in theater from the University of Iowa.
He earned a 1977 Best Writing Academy Award nomination for The Seven-Per-Cent Solution.
He had three daughters: Rachel, Madeline and Roxanne.
He had one of his only acting roles with Ann Jillian in the TV movie Mae West.
