Rugby union center who made his international debut for Scotland in 2008 and played for Border Reivers from 2006-2007.

He attended Lockerbie Academy in Scotland.

He played rugby at Edinburgh University.

His daughter Ailish was born April 1, 2012.

The versatile Chris Paterson was his teammate on the Scottish rugby union team.
