ABOUT NICO HOERNER

Professional infielder that was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Cubs' rookie affiliate team the AZL Cubs.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Stanford University , where he was a two-time All-Pac-12 team member.

He made his major league debut playing against the San Diego Padres on September 9, 2019.

He is a native of Oakland, California.

He and Patrick Wisdom have both been infielders for the Chicago Cubs.
