ABOUT NICOLE CLIFFE

Writer who came to prominence as the co-founder and co-editor of the feminist-focused humor website The Toast. She has also been an advice columnist for Slate, Elle and Catapult.

She grew up in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and attended Harvard University on full scholarship. She later worked at a New York hedge fund.

She is the creator of the popular Tumblr account Lazy Self-Indulgent Book Reviews.

She has been married and has children.

She co-founded The Toast with Daniel Mallory Ortberg .
