Early in her career, she appeared in commercials and theater productions.

She had minor roles in numerous TV shows, including 9B, The Kids in the Hall, The Outer Limits, and Stargate Atlantis.

She married John Kastner in 1999. She and Kastner later separated.

She appeared on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine with Avery Brooks .
