Starred in the successful TV series Knots Landing , and later appeared as Edie Britt in the award-winning series Desperate Housewives from 2004-2012.

Her first real TV role was on the soap opera Paper Dolls.

Other film appearances include Noises Off, Tarzan & Jane, and Beverly Hills Ninja.

She was briefly married to Harry Hamlin from 1991-1992. She later married Aaron Phypers in 2015.

She was in a controversial Monday Night Football skit with Terrell Owens in 2004.
