Niko Diego Tsakiris
ABOUT NIKO DIEGO TSAKIRIS
American midfielder who kicked off his professional soccer career with the San Jose Earthquakes . He represented the club in the 2022 U.S. Open Cup. At the international level, he represented the United States in the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
He played youth soccer with De Anza Force, IMG Academy, and the San Jose Earthquakes.
In January 2022, he became the fifth youngest player ever to sign a professional contract with the San Jose Earthquakes. He was featured in a February 2023 article for American Soccer Now.
His father, Shaun Tsakiris, played for the Rochester Rhinos.
He and Jonathan Mensah became teammates in 2023.
