ABOUT NINI TONGA
Singer known as a member of the gospel group The Tonga Sisters. She and her sisters became famous for doing covers on YouTube that went viral. They covered songs by Boyz II Men and The Greatest Showman . In 2018, they appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show .
As a child, she began singing with her sisters in church. She and her sisters are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of their first YouTube videos was a song called "Jesus Has Risen."
Ellen DeGeneres surprised the sisters by awarding each of them with a $10,000 Shutterfly scholarship. She and her sisters pray before and after every performance. Her and her sisters' YouTube channel has built a massive audience of over 20,000 subscribers.
Her parents are named Walter and Telesia Tonga. They migrated from Tonga to Hawaii. Her sisters are named Alexsia Tonga , Tiueti Tonga , Lela Tonga and Elisiva Tonga .
She and her sisters went viral performing a 90's songs mashup to Bruno Mars ' "24K Magic."
