ABOUT NIZAR
Stand-up comedian and podcast host. In 2016, he started posting his comedy to his NIZAR YouTube account. He launched his first tour in 2020. He has amassed more than 200,000 subscribers.
His first career was in music. At the age of 17, he formed a band with a friend. In 2004, he appeared on a talent show called Popstars.
He went viral in 2019 after experiencing racism and discrimination at the hands of employees of Sixt, a car rental company. The incident happened after he and a colleague experienced a car breakdown on the way back from a performance.
He was born in Bonn, Germany, to Tunisian parents.
He named Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy as his main comedy influences.
