South African DJ and musician, known for producing and singing in Amapiano, a Subgenre of South African house music. His music has been featured on hit songs like "Shesha" and "Wamuhle". He has over 750,000 followers on Instagram under the handle njelic_sa.
Music was a way for him to escape the rough street life in his home of Soweto. He was originally known as Nje Nje but later changed his stage name to Njelic. He gained fame in 2019 with the release of his hit song, "Shesha," in collaborating with De Mthuda.
He has released three full length albums, Garage FM (2020), Dr. Gandayi (2021) and The Doctor's Laboratory (2024). His latest release is the December 2024 single, "Yoh" which features Chley and others.
He was born Tshwarelo Motlhako in Soweto, South Africa. In June 2021 he announced the passing of his mother.
He has collaborated with other famous artists like Chley and Simmy .
