Noah Hingley

ABOUT NOAH HINGLEY

English industrialist who founded the large scale chain and anchor manufacturing firm, N. Hingley & Sons. His success led him to become a philanthropist and later the Mayor of Dudley.

For his first job he travelled with a packhorse through around neighboring villages selling nails.

He was a parliamentary candidate for many years but never won.

His son, Benjamin Hingley, continued the family business and eventually became a member of the House of Commons.

Despite being over a century older, his industrialist story is similar to English business executive Andrew Currie .
