Aspiring country singer that won the 20th season of the reality competition show American Idol . Prior to his singing career, he worked in construction. Due to his newfound popularity, he has accumulated over 200,000 followers on his noahthompsonmusic Instagram account.

Before auditioning for American Idol, he had never been on an airplane. Although he never flew before the competition, he thought that auditioning in front of the show judges was the hardest part of the journey.

The last song he performed before winning American Idol was "Falling Again" by Don Williams . After winning the show, he made his first-ever appearance on Good Morning America on May 23, 2022. He moved to Blaine, KY later, and moved to Louisa, KY about a year prior to do doing the show.

He was born and raised in Louisa, Kentucky. His son, Walker, was born in 2021.

He performed in front of American idol judges Katy Perry , Lionel Richie and fellow country singer Luke Bryan .
