ABOUT NOAM BRAMSON
This Democratic Party politician took office in 2006 as Mayor of New Rochelle, New York. He had previously served for a decade on the city's council.
He earned a graduate degree in public policy from Harvard University and went on to work as a speechwriter for United States Representative Nita Lowey .
During his tenure as New Rochelle's mayor, he joined a bipartisan organization called the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition.
He was born in New Rochelle to Polish parents. His marriage to physician Catie Stern resulted in two sons.
In 2013, he ran against Republican candidate Rob Astorino for the position of Westchester County Executive.
