ABOUT NOELLA MARCELLINO

Microbiologist and nun who is known for her studies on fungi. She was considered an international expert on cheese and won the French Food Spirit Award.

She won a Fulbright scholarship to france to study traditional cheeses.

She was the subject of a PBS documentary called The Cheese Nun.

Her brother is John "Jocko" Marcellino, founding member and drummer of the band Sha Na Na.

Like Mother Teresa , she is a nun.
