Norodom Ranariddh
ABOUT NORODOM RANARIDDH
Prime Minister of Cambodia from 1993 to 1997 who, in 2008, was selected by King Norodom Sihamoni to be the chief advisor of his advisory court. He was a revered figure in Cambodia who many credit with brining Democracy back into the country.
He lived in France and was a lecturer at the University of Provence.
He served as chairman of the Funcinpac party and later established the Norodom Ranariddh Party, the third largest party in Cambodia.
His father was the former King of Cambodia and his half-brother, Norodom Sihamoni, became King in 2004.
He was the second son of Norodom Shinanouk .
