ABOUT NOZIYA KAROMATULLO

Tajikistani singer and dancer known for her multilingual performances in Tajik, Hindi, and Persian and for her songs "Biyoyi," "Aziz Jan," "Bachagak Hai Gharmi," "Runga Banga," "Har Shab Dar Lab," and "Way Allah Yaar Jan."

She grew up in a musical family which inspired her to pursue music as a career. She graduated in 2005 from the Maliki Sobirova School of Music. She then enrolled in the Indian Conservatory in New Delhi and studied classical singing and dancing. She graduated with honors in 2010. She held her first solo concert in 2010, which was the start of her singing career. She started sharing her music online in 2016.

She won a competition in classical Kathak dance in India in 2007. She is a big fan of Bollywood films and music.

She was born and raised in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. She is the daughter of the late singer Karomatullo Qurbonov. Her brother is also a singer. She has a daughter.

She and Farzona Khurshed are both singers from Tajikistan.
