ABOUT ODUNSI THE ENGINE
Nigerian alternative singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer who first became recognized in 2018 with his debut album "Rare" which earned him nominations at The Headies and SoundCity MVP Awards. He is known for his songs "Tipsy," "Alté cruise" and "star signs."
He dropped out of school in 2015 because of his struggle with ADHD which he describes as part of his inspiration. That same year he started music professionally as a record producer and rapper.
In 2019, he was profiled by The New York Times as the new guard of Nigerian music. He collaborated with Nonso Amadi on the 2017 War EP.
His birth name is Bowofoluwa Olufisayo Odunsi. He has two brothers and two sisters.
