ABOUT ERIC JOHNSON
Grammy-winning guitarist, pianist, instrumentalist, singer, entertainer, artist, performer, musician, and vocalist who is skilled in various musical genres from rock to jazz fusion, blues and country. He was a member of bands such as Electromagnets and Alien Love Child.
He began playing instruments as a child. He studied at the University of Texas in Austin for a short time before deciding to fully focus all his attention on his music career.
In addition to electric guitar, he can play acoustic, lap steel, and resonator guitar, plus the bass and piano. He released an album titled Ah Via Musicom in the year 1990. His YouTube video "Eric Johnson - Cliffs Of Dover - Live" garnered more than 13 million views.
His father had musical talents, and he learned piano alongside his three sisters.
He has collaborated on multiple projects in the music industry with Joe Perry of Aerosmith .
