Professional soccer player who is recognized for having played the defensive midfield position for the Association Sportive de Saint-Étienne Loire of the Ligue 1 Conforama.

He played for an under 19 team that won a national championship.

In 2012, he made a minor appearance on the Norwegian soap opera series Hotel Cæsar.

He is the son of former professional goalkeeper Ivar Selnæs.

Both he and Stéphane Ruffier played for AS Saint-Étienne.
