Jamaican boxer nicknamed 'Super Nova' who became the undisputed Cruiserweight Champion, holding titles in WBC WBA, IBF and The Ring magazine. He has posted notable wins over fighters like Ezra Sellers, Kelvin Davis and Dale Brown during his career.

He was born in Jamaica and won in his first professional fight against William Holyfield in February 1998.

In 2007, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after throwing an axe at Larry Slayton, his sparring partner, during a training session in the woods of Big Bear, California.

He has a daughter named Shyenne with Ashlei Evans.

He knocked out French fighter Jean-Marc Mormeck in July 2006 before losing to him via unanimous decision eight months later.
