ABOUT ONNI TOMMILA
Finnish actor who starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the 2014 action-adventure film Big Game. He appeared as a soldier named Schütze in the 2022 historical action thriller film Sisu. His TV career has included his role as Vanginvartija in the TV series Karkurit.
He obtained his first acting credit after appearing in the short film The Official Rare Exports Inc. Safety Instructions 2005. In the following year, he played the role of Tobias in the short film The Fakir.
In 2016, he received a nomination for the Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actor award at the Young Artist Awards. In 2011, he voiced the role of Eetu in the animated film Eetu ja Konna.
His father is actor Jorma Tommila, and his mother is scenic designer Ida Helander-Tommila. He also has a maternal uncle called Jalmari Helander.
Both he and Tom Holland received nominations at the 37th Young Artist Awards.
