ABOUT OSWALD LEWINTER
Austrian-American poet and author best known for his conspiracy theories and elaborate hoaxes. His poetry collections include Ages of Chaos and Fury (2005) and More Atoms of Memory (2006).
He graduated from the University of California-Berkeley and Columbia University. He may or may not have worked for the CIA.
He was awarded the 1997 International Rilke Prize in Poetry.
As a young child, he emigrated from Vienna, Austria to New York City. He fathered five children through four marriages.
He was part of a conspiracy hoax surrounding Princess Diana 's death that involved the attempted circulation of forged British Intelligence documents.
