ABOUT OTTO LOPEZ

Professional center fielder and corner outfielder that was originally signed by the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in 2016. Following the 2022 minor league season, he was nammed the 18th best MLB prospect in the Blue Jays' minor league system.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Blue Jays. After 51 games, he was eventually promoted.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Washington Nationals on August 17, 2021. He finished the game 0 for 1.

He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; but he was raised in Montreal, Canada due to his father relocating for work when he was young.

He and Santiago Espinal have both been infielders for the Toronto Blue Jays.
