ABOUT OZODA NURSAIDOVA

Singer, composer, and producer best known for albums such as "Orzularim" and singles including "Asrasin," "Farqi Yoq," and "Ajdodlar." She has performed in concert programs at Friendship of the Peoples Palace over half a dozen times since 2002.

She graduated from the Tashkent State Conservatory in 1999. She released her debut album, "Muhabbat Qaydasan," featuring the single, "Alla bolam," in 1997.

She earned Best Singer of the Year at the 2001 Tarpaulin Awards and at the 2002 Zomin Awards. In 2021, she was honored with the Medal of Fame by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

She posted a video of her family on her ozodaofficial Instagram account in September 2018.

In 2019, she joined singers Yulduz Usmonova and Shahzoda in speaking out against an official law that limited wedding performers. It had been passed as part of an Uzbek regulation intended to curb event overspending.
