ABOUT PABLO MATERA

Argentinian professional rugby player known for playing as a flanker for the New Zealand professional rugby team the Crusaders. Previously, he has played for the Stade Français rugby team in France, the Leicester Tigers in England, the Pampas XV in South Africa, and the Jaguares in Buenos Aires. He competed in the 2015 Rugby World Cup and played on the Argentinian national team.

He attended St. Catherine´s Moorlands School in Buenos Aires.

In November 2020, he was suspended from Argentina's national team for not properly honoring the death of Diego Maradona and for unearthed offensive tweets.

He is married to Alina Costantini.

Dan Carter became a teammate of his when he signed to play for the Crusaders.
